BBC SPORT: London 2012 team defend new logo

So OK, we know that money needs to be spent on bringing the Olympics to London. We also know that the actual spend is going to be more than was forecast and the odds on it being more than is currently forecast are short.

So what better way to spend money, £400,000 to be exact, than to copy the old Tiswaz logo and create something that is rubbish.

Now don't get me wrong, London 2012 needs a logo but this is rubbish and a complete waste of money.

Thank heavens that I only have to work in London every so often and not have to pay the extra tax for cr4p like this.

BBC SPORT: London 2012 team defend new logo: "Organisers of the 2012 London Olympics have defended their new logo following widespread public criticism. "

BBC NEWS: No 'hands-up' call to help pupils

So here we have again more public money spent on something that is worthless.

So they say that kids no longer should ask to answer questions, so instead the teacher then by default has to ask kids who wont know the answer who will then be picked on by fellow pupils, who in turn will feel more pressured and pushed to the outside of the class.

Well done - you've just achieved exactly what you set out not to do.
