Residents Dont Want Homes Built

Glad to see that the council leader is asking residents whether or not they want developments to take place.

Just a shame that this only seems to happen on a rare basis and that even when residents are against a proposal they seem to get the go-ahead in any case (Germany Beck, Barbican, Derwenthorpe to list a few)

It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that the council leader is the councillor for the ward that is affected by the proposals in this article?
